November 1, 2008 at 4:10 pm #277709I see quite some things that are different from the demo, seeing you dont have any content on it yet i would recommend using the quickstart to get your site exactly like the demo without having to spend alot of time customising to make it look like the demo.
It will save you alot of work.

November 1, 2008 at 7:54 pm #277723Hello
Thanks for reply, i installed the joomla with the example data to test the modules positions first, i will upgrade with real info later, my problem by now is the module janews as i wrote.
I already read the quick start guide and set the modules as the screenshoots show, before i did the post.
I hope someone can help me.
Cheers.

Yeah i realise, but the quick start guide and a quick start installation is a different thing.
A quickstart installation is a joomla installation with the template integrated and all modules integrated, so that after installing the quickstart you will a website exactly like the demo site within 5 minutes.
So if you want your site to look like the demo you’r best off to install the quickstart package, instead of only installing the template and install all the modules and configure the modules manually.
It will really save you alot of time and customising. If i look at your site now you will have a lot more of changing after this to do before you have it like the demo site.
You find a guide on how to install the quickstart here:
