Hi,
I have problem with my working page (http://www.racman.info/sovice.si/) with date language in mod_janews. I have everything translated but date is not translated. Can someone tell me the “fix” for this.
Thanks in advance.

November 28, 2008 at 4:38 am #280586Dear racman,
Please open file blog_item.php in templates/ja_uvite/html/mod_janews folder, at about line 13, find following script:
$dateformat = $tmpTools->getParam(‘janews-dateformat’, ‘d M Y’);
here you can change date format to your request.
Hope it helps.
November 28, 2008 at 5:07 pm #280658Hi,
thanks for reply. I found that script before asking, but I have a problem with local language of date.
If you can check my link in previous post there is english date…. monday, 17. november 2008… but I would like to be changed in my language (slovenian) in…. ponedeljek, 17. november 2008. I have installed slovenian language but date is still in english.
Date in content is fine… in slovenian… http://www.racman.info/sovice.si/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=20&Itemid=77
Thanks for help,

June 1, 2009 at 9:44 pm #306455I had the same problem. Its an automatic created date so… The only way i solved the problem was choosing not to see this date in the module options on admin backend.

You have to change in your language file.
For example: with english language, you open languageen-GBen-GB.ini file, find following code:# Date format

DATE_FORMAT_LC1=%A, %d %B %Y
DATE_FORMAT_LC2=%A, %d %B %Y %H:%M

DATE_FORMAT_LC4=%d.%m.%y

June 3, 2009 at 2:31 pm #306681Hi JA…
Nice stuff you make… But I have an additional date-language problem, with the “ja_teline_ii” template.
In the very top of every page, there are a date and a search-field… that date is displayed in English, no matter what I do.
I even went as far as to input my local date-translations into the standard “en-GB.ini” file… which tells me, that this “top-date” must be hard-coded somewhere in the system.
Can you point me in the right direction, for localizing this?.
Thanks in advance…
