I have the mod_janews_fp installed, but can’t figure out how to remove the original joomla front page

Hello,
Go to Menus > Magazine > Home
Configure parameters for this menu item in this way:
#leading: 0
#Intro: 0
#Columns:0
#links:0

This will make default frontpage disappear.

I have the same problem and figured out the same solution. However, when I click on an article, the article will appear below my categories, rather than instead of the janews position. Any ideas?
