    Hello,
I would like to personalize the mod_slideshow module but when I click on Save I have the message: Operation Failed: Failed to Open file to Writting. I try to put 777 on cache folder but nothing.
    Can you help me please.
    Javier

Didn’t work with user/pass your provider. Check on this pls.

I suggest your check permission right 777 images/stories/slideshow folder

Hello thanks for your suggest but it still doesn’t work . I installed again all the site and also installed manually the mod_jaslideshow.v1.0.4 and nothing.
I applied all the suggestions from the forum without success. Would you like to see my site please?. I’m very dissapointed.
    Thanks for your quick reply.

    Hi Javier,

I’ve the same problem with this module in a fresh install, when i try to change configuration of parameters and save, the backend reports NO PERMISSION FILE.

The user CAZ_BLUE has been solved. Here you have the link > http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/solved-no_permission-message-when-saving-module-ja-slideshow/#post-371985

I have tested the proposed solution and is working fine for me. Enjoy it !

    Dear Tumisoft!

Please set permission 777 for “images”, “images/resized” and “modules/mod_jaslideshow/profiles/” folders. That should help.

    Regards!
