How do you go about moderating the comments? I have comments showing up with posts I made today indicating the comment occurred weeks ago. I can find no way to deleted or edit them.

I should point out I purchased jateliniii and installed quickstart. I’ve begun adding my own content. It appears I’ve got the ja comment plugin but not the module. Does this require an additional purchase? Please advise.

Come on guys… anyone? How do you moderate the comments? Surely someone on the board can help me out here.

Since I appear to be talking to myself here, I’ll post a follow-up to my follow-up. The JA Teline III comes with the JA Comment Plugin. It would appear the JA Comment Component is required in order to moderate the comments. My JA Teline III did not come with the component. When I attempt to download the component I’m told I have to join the Magento Templates club.

This is misleading. I can’t imagine anyone that could possible find a comment plugin useable without the ability to moderate the comments.

You guys have some georgous templates and I’ve purchased your products for three years, but you are consistently disorganized and extremely slow in responding to questions. It’s a shame.

Now, short of buying another club membership in order to get the component that goes with my plugin, anyone have any suggestions about a comment application that works without the deception of how it is to be applied?

You can moderate the coments etc from Disqus (the one i have tryied) or you can buy JA Comment Component.

    Dear bwyatt!

The Teline iii used the ja comments plugin to allow users commenting. the comment are managed from the third party which you choosed and used one of comment services. Now Please go to the site of comment service to delete users’ comments.

    Good luck

Thanks for the reply tienhc. I’m not interested in farming out my comments through a 3rd party source. I’d rather have the control from within my site. IMO, the documentation should be made clear of the difference between the plugin and the component… and that the purchase of a membership for the JA telineiii does not include the component.

    Thanks again.

    Dear bwyatt

I think that you should install the ja comment component or the j comment component on your site.

Yes, I had come to the same conclusion.
