May 5, 2014 at 8:29 pm #533667The front page display is comprised of different images/modules.
You can learn more about how to configure this template via the JA FIXEL USER GUIDE
May 5, 2014 at 8:44 pm #533672Hello Tom,
Thanks for the quick response. I have built hundreds of Joomla websites and am familiar with modules.
But in this case it is not clear. What for example is controlling the 4 images to the right of the ‘Fixel.
Rock team of one Designer and one Developer’ module ? For example Shakira, Adam Levine and image and ….. image and article?Regards,
Mike

Those two elements you mention are actually Featured Articles – which you can find within Content->Featured Articles within your back-end site admin.
Other elements featured within that section can be found within your Module Manager – assigned to the “home1” position.
🙂

May 5, 2014 at 10:58 pm #533679Could try unpublishing some of the modules.
May 5, 2014 at 11:10 pm #533680I tried that but most of these positions are related to the images or videos.
How do we reduce these?
Thanks

Not entirely sure if the change of the number of the article displayed on homepage can help in this case?
Simply go to backend >> Home menu item >> Layout >> Change value of the “# Intro Articles”.

http://prntscr.com/3go194</blockquote>That doesn’t work…you just end up with all the other modules crowding up in the leftover spots from the articles.
I think what is being asked is how to modify the number of rows, not “how to make it seem like”…and I would also like to know about the columns…same category of question….
I think it is pretty obvious if you put out a template like this JAfixel, that people would want to modify EXACTLY that…the grid…but so far there are many many many threads for JAfixel with regards to this topic, and no clear cut answer in any thread I’ve found so far with regards on how to easily move the grid around…:((….and KEEP IT RESPONSIVE for all the other formats, tablets, mobiles, etc!!!!!!!…..anybody can mess with css here and there…
I wish the developers would have made their template more friendly to changes in the grid…the “solutions” I’ve read so far, you end practically coding your own….what’s the point of buying one then>:(???
