Where can this tittle be modified in the template JD Rave: “welcome to the frontpage” that appears in the content?

and

How can i insert a 596px by 150px banner in the logo section?

1) It is page title which can be changed by going to ::

admin >> menus >> home >> parameters(system)

2) You will need to mainly increase dimensions here to have banner image fit in well ::

h1.logo a {template.css (line 300)
background: url(“../images/logo.png”) no-repeat scroll left center transparent !important;
display: block;
height: 42px;
margin-left: 0;
width: 124px;
}

h1.logo {template.css (line 298)
height: 40px;
width: 162px;
}

Also, You can update in your image in above background property path

Hi

I cannot change the “Welcome to the frontpage” heading by following your answer.
Your answer allows you to change the page title as shown on the browser tabs but it doesnt change this text.
Is this not in a php file?
