I would like to modify the create article form, to comment out fields such as “access”, “language”, and “state”. How is the best way to modify the form so that these fields and questions do not appear?

    Thanks,

    Ken

I would like to change the form that is used on the front end, from regular registered users.

I want to make it as simple as possible for users, and I do not want to confuse them with fields that I do not want them to change.

I believe I have figured out how to take out those fields. Do you know if that will have any consequences, in other words, by commenting out those fields, will it cause errors? Is it possible to have a default that will be automatic? So for example, the default for category will be “Town”?

    Thanks,

    Ken

    Hello Hamlethub,

You can manually edit the field from Create Article Form .
But you send the screen shot of Field where do you want to make changes.
Also give more simple explanation about you say ” Is it possible to have a default that will be automatic? So for example, the default for category will be “Town”?” ” along with screen shot so that we can understand and give you better solutions.
