    I am very new (less than a week) to Joomla & need to get up and running ASAP.
    I am comfortable (tho not an expert) with HTML, CSS, PHP, FTP.
    I have read all the Joomla help guides that I could find + all the postings in this forum.

    I want to modify the footer in Utahia II.

    I went to Template Manager => Site => Edit
    I saw that the footer was an included PHP file (footer.php)

    1) is there a way to modify the footer.php file online?

    2) if not, I assume that: (a) I need to modify footer.php on my desktop (which I did);
    (b) I then need to upload the modified file to my host (Host Monster).

    If so, where on my host do I upload/store the modified footer.php file for Utahia II?

    Note: I also have 3 other templates (1 of which is a JoomlArt template) stored on my host.

    3) Is there another way to modify the PHP file?

    Thanks in advance for your help!

    Open up the template folder and you see the footer there,that means you need to upload it to the template folder after you have modified it.
