Because of the limitations of the joomla category/section structure whereby articles can only exist in one joomla category/section, we had to choose K2 so we can put articles in multiple categories. As cool as the JA-News modules are, we can’t really use them to pull our news content.

We have the JA-Uvite template installed with K2 for all the articles. We want the JA-News and JA-News Frontpage to pull articles from K2 categories flagged as ‘Featured’ instead of pulling from the Joomla section/categories flagged as ‘Front Page’.

Is this something difficult to modify?
