The JA News Front Page module is great but there are lots of requests by people wanting to use it on other pages and sections other than the front page. As it only displays articles set to be on the front page this doesn’t really work well.

It would be really good if JA could release a module that’s exactly the same except that you can choose or input individual article id’s thus allowing you to choose articles from whichever section you like.

yes, and it would also be great, when the pictures, intro text inside the featured article (intro item) is linkable.

i had to change the code, in order to get linkable pictures.

Please open modulesmod_janewstmplblog_item.php file, at about line 57, find following code:

<?php echo $image; ?>

and change to:

<a href=”<?php echo $link;?>” title=”<?php echo strip_tags($row->title);?>”><?php echo $image; ?
