    i have just installed ja vauxite so i’m interested in the module class suffices.

    from the css file, it seems that there’re 4 classes:

    _blank
    _text
    _menu
    _hilite

    i have tried modifying the modules with the 4 suffices, but only _blank seems to have any effect. the rest of the suffices don’t seem to do anything? or am i missing something?

    i have tried using firebug to modify the demo on joomlart too, and i get the same results.

    you know what’s sad . . . I have been “working” with Joomla for over two years now, and I STILL don’t understand module class suffixes.

    A good idea would be to look in you template.css file and find

    /* MODULE

    under this you will see things like

    div.moduletable-hilite {

    This will let you know which suffix you have….
    please bear in mind that some template only have one and some don’t use them.

    Not sure where but I seem to remember someone (maybe Scotty) showing how you could make your own.

    you may want to stop using the underscore, try a dash before the name: change _hilite to -hilite may work!!

    Hope this helps 😉
