Hi,
this is the ever problem.
You create a demo with a typhography menu, where you nicely show the possible options with suffixes without the suffixes.
Please tell me what is the logic behind it?
I know if I deeply look at in template CSS with many trials I can find what I want, but need I?
It would be as simple if you already create the typhography page to put in the boxes the suffix for them instead of “Lorem ipsum…”.
I really don’t undertsand you.Regards
Jozsef

With all due respect, Jozef, I am not understanding what your issue/complaint is.What is it that you are finding difficult to work with? What do you mean by . . .
It would be as simple if you already create the typhography page to put in the boxes the suffix for them instead of “Lorem ipsum…”.
January 12, 2012 at 5:18 pm #433581Please, look at the attached image. This is your typhography site, where show nicely the typhography but not the suffix codes for it!
What I am mentioning with “Lorem…” that for example that typhography boxes on the attached image could contain the suffixes of that box (eg. red-legend title-2, etc…). I hope now you got it.Regards
Jozsef

January 12, 2012 at 5:27 pm #433585Creating Beautiful websites is one of the primary goals here at Joomlart. Providing you with the tools to make your site unique, stylish, and professional is what drives our template creation. One of the many features we’ve packed into our templates is custom typography options that compliment your template and your content. Typography is one of the most over-looked features of Joomlart templates, but it’s one of the features that can transform your site into a truly unique website filled with beautiful content. Let’s take a look at what Joomlart Typography can do for your site!
Typography Options
Beautiful Text
Joomlart templates provide a wide variety of Typography options for your text, all built right in to the template! Take a look at the typography page on any template and you can see many options for making your content unique. Whether it’s stylish dropcaps and dropquotes, or message boxes and bubbles drawing the readers attention to a bit of content – using the Typography options built right in to every Joomlart template will make every page stand out!Listing Heaven
Want to create awesome lists in your content? Try some of Joomlarts list options with Typography! With everything covered from bulleted lists with a wide variety of icons, to stylish numbered list options, lists have never looked as beautiful as with a Joomlart template with custom-built list options to match!Module Mania
Joomlart templates and typography goes well beyond dressing up your content. All Joomlart templates include even more options to customize entire modules by providing module classes to add special features to an entire module! Combine that with unique styling through Typography and your website will keep readers looking for more!Buttons & Tags
Custom button and tag styles polish off the Typography options. These give you an easy way to have beautiful buttons and stylish tags in your content, giving your users an appealing interface to interact with your website in!Using Typography
Joomlart does a lot to make your website look awesome, but all that is useless without a bit of knowledge on how to use it! Fortunately for you, using Joomlarts built in Typography options is not hard, and we’re about to show you how!
Typography in Content
Probably the most popular uses of Typography options is in your content. Whether it’s in a list, blockquote, content bubble, or any of the many other options Joomlart offers, all of this, whether in an article or module, is added through your content editor. Before getting started, make sure you have a good WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor – Joomla! comes with a great one (TinyMCE), but if you’re looking for an even better one we recommend taking a look at JCE.Adding Typography to customize your content is easy. All you have to do is identify the area you want to add the typography to, and add a specific “class” to that element in the html! Now don’t worry if you don’t know html code, give me a minute and you’ll be doing this like a pro!
Let’s take a list for example. An un-numbered list (bulleted list) in html would usually look something like this:
<blockquote><ul>
<li>Item One</li>
<li>Item Two</li>
<li>Item Three</li>
</ul></blockquote>
Now, to add a Typography option there we have to add one small snippet in that first <ul> tag. We’re going to transform <ul> into <ul class=”red-check”>. That’s it! We’ve now added a Typography class to our bulleted list to transform the typical black, round bullet into a red check mark!We do the same thing for paragraphs where you might use the blockquote and dropcap style, or even many of the bubble or icon styles that are available. Typically, a paragraph looks something like this:
<p>My paragraph here.</p>
In order to apply a style to this, all we’re going to do is modify the paragraph tag, taking this <p>, and changing it to <p class=”blockquote”>That’s it! We’ve just added typography styles to our content to make our site unique, and appealing! Told you it was easy! 🙂
Typography in Modules
Using the many different module styles in your website is even easier that adding typography in your content. All you have to do is add the module class to the module itself. This is an easy process where you just take the class that you want to use in the module, and add it to the Module Class Suffix parameter in the module configuration.Where do I Find Typography Examples?
Good question! In each template demo that Joomlart produces there is a Typography page – usually in the main menu at the top of the demo. If you navigate to that page, you can see complete examples of all the Typography options for that demo. I use this page all the time even after my own site is installed, since it is an easy way to reference the examples, and browse through the options to find what I want!January 12, 2012 at 5:40 pm #433589You are getting me nervous, I cannot believe it is as hard to understand that I exactly need that ….g code what is only once present in xour log article upside.
I didn’t want, but now I have to show you how Rocketthem does it. Only to help you understand
Got it?-

I understand what you mean… Tom really is trying to assist you and is actually one of the key folks that can help change this.
he will get with you shortly with some temporary work-aroundsJanuary 13, 2012 at 12:50 pm #433741Dear n6rej!
Thanks for your positive aswer. I speak about a general issue. You could spare a lot of efforts for all of us (you too) if you would clearly publish module class suffixes like your concurrent. It’s up to you make both parties’ life easier.
Regards
Jozsef

January 15, 2012 at 12:05 pm #433899But we are not talking Typography here, we are talking about the module class suffixes. We go through this quite regulary where the designers make a big effort for a bit to publish all of the suffixes in the templates manual in the forums then for some reason that fizzles out after time and we then have to investigate the quickstart just to see something simple.
I am sure Tom and Troy have already done so but I will also raise this little chessnut once more.

January 15, 2012 at 9:15 pm #433931To be fair, in this case many of the module suffixes are listed in the instructions – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/userguide-ja-ironis-template-for-joomla-2-5/
January 16, 2012 at 10:22 am #433993Yes, I am aware of the plugin but it has nothing to do with module class suffixes.
January 16, 2012 at 10:28 am #433998I would rather say “some” not “many”. Only those suffixes can be found that are in the demo.
I only can say again, please look at your competitor. They create the same page for typhography in the demo as you. One small difference, that there are the suffixes. From my side I close the discussion because we won’t get any fruther.
Thanks for the answers.

February 2, 2012 at 6:57 pm #436654I have the same issues with your templates. I am trying to find the module class suffix for the JA Business site that places the icons in the Content-mass-top module location; the pencil, the clock etc. I think the template specific stuff should be on a modules styles page on the demo with the icons clearly labeled. How do I put the pencil in the header? What are the other suffixes? Thanks
