    Hi,

I tried to set user 8 and 9 to a module color. I created a new module and selected from styles module-cyan for example, see the HTML change accordingly, but the user8 or 9 module doesn’t reflect the color change.

Modules that have a Module Class Suffix setting do work perfectly though. What am I missing here?
How do I set a new module to a color in the parameter field or otherwise?

    Thanks again!

    Hello,

I need help on how to use Module Class Suffix :

Where can I find all the suffix available to be able to change the color of module (like show in the Template presentation : orange, cyan, green) ?

Can someone give me an example of a suffix for a left or right module ?

    Thanks in advance

Please use Module Class Suffix: -orange, -cyan, -green. Here is a sample:

    Hi Khanh,

    Thanks for answering!

My problem is with the newly created modules that don’t have a “Module Class Suffix” field, but a large empty “Parameters” field.

What do I write there? moduleclass_sfx = -cyan?

    Hi Khanh,

    Thanks, that helps!

But I still have the following more difficult question:

How do I move the Sargas module color ability to Spica?
I tried copying the css defs, but that doesn’t work at all. I have tried my butt off, but I can’t get it to work. :((

Any help here is highly appreciated! 🙂

    Hi Tom,
In this case, you have to explore JA Sargas code (CSS) and make change by yourself. I have only note for you that in JA Sargas, we use mosLoadModules with second option is -3, while it is -2 in JA Spica.
    Best regards,

    Thanks Khanh,

I will explore more, but it doesn’t seem that easy unfortunately. What does -3 stand for?

    Thanks again!

It is the way Joomla! generate html code for modules. You should find and read those documents and tutorials about Joomla! template on Joomla! document site.
