Hi,
I’m using ja-TIRIS but I would try it with virtuemart, but there is a problem: when I enable the vm shopping cart module in homepage disappear ja slideshow module and ja sidenews module: why?
Don’t tell that it works just with JoomShopping :((
This is the site: http://www.gleeque.it/index.php.
Thanks for your help 🙂pixelzombie Friendpixelzombie

January 28, 2012 at 1:05 am #435815Hi filomena78,
first I don’t really get your problem. What do you mean with they disapear when you enable the vm shopping cart module? What are you exactly enabling?
Joomlart doesn’t support Virtuemart with the Tiris template in terms of styling etc. This doesn’t mean that it is not working with it. I have installed Virtuemart myself on a Tiris template and it works just fine. There’s just the overall look you need to edit to fit the template (as in every other site too).
If you also could provide login information, I’ll have a look at it. PM is fine.
Cheers
Frank
January 29, 2012 at 2:09 pm #436020Hi Frank,
thanks for your answer.
The problem is that JaSlideshow and JaNews modules disappear in the homepage when I enable VM cart.
I send you a PM with password and pictures that show the problem to have a look on my site if you can.
Thank you,

January 30, 2012 at 12:32 am #436101Hi Filo,
it’s a caching issue. I can’t really tell what’s causing the error but adding vmsite.js to the optimization exclude list in the template manager solves the issue.
I hope you can live with that 😉
Cheers
Frank

February 9, 2012 at 7:17 pm #437742Hi,
now I have the opposite problem: slideshow and sidenews modules are now always visible in every pages and not just in home page as I set.
I read in some thread that this is a common problem with many others: any solution?
Thanks 🙂pixelzombie Friendpixelzombie

February 15, 2012 at 8:27 am #438400Hi Filo,
this is because your “Home” Menu item is Virtuemart and the Slideshow displays correctly in all virtuemart pages and works as intended. It’s kind if a Virtuemart URL-Issue. Maybe Advanced Module Manager from http://www.nonumber.nl can help you with this? I’ll come up with another solution when I have one 😉
Cheers
Frank

February 22, 2012 at 12:38 pm #439454Thx for the reply Frank,
I’m still in the early stage with the webshop. The intention is that when K2mart is available for Joomla 1.7 and VM 2.0.0 that I would import al the articles into K2.
I’m almost certain that al of the modules will work then.
If not I will recontact you if I may.
Greetings
