December 14, 2010 at 12:05 pm #366712You can use in syntax as suggested in tutorial thread to call any position holding specific module in content item and enter the syntax in article html output assigned

December 14, 2010 at 12:09 pm #366713Perhaps a point of clarification – are you wanting to do this on ALL pages or just the FRONTPAGE?

December 14, 2010 at 1:16 pm #366725saw this on another template post :
<em>@brunus 157015 wrote:</em><blockquote>Hi
It’s quite easy.
In your layout, for exemple left-main-right_square, there is several positions available but not activated. Just activate it in the file, exemple Ja_purityII/layouts/left-main-right_square.php :$positions = array (
'left1' =>'',
'left2' =>'',
'left-mass-top' =>'',
'left-mass-bottom' =>'',
'right1' =>'right',
'right2' =>'',
'right-mass-top' =>'',
'right-mass-bottom' =>'',
'content-mass-top' =>'top',
'content-mass-bottom' =>'',
'content-top' =>'content-top',
'content-bottom' =>'content-bottom',
'inset1' =>'left',
'inset2' =>''
);As you can see in the exemple, I activated content-top (that’s what you are seeking for) and content-bottom.
To have it available in the Joomla! administrator, you also have to open the faile templateDetails.xml in the Ja-purity II root directory and to had those positions :
<positions>
<position>hornav</position>
<position>breadcrumbs</position>
<position>search</position>
<position>banner</position>
<position>content-top</position>
<position>content-bottom</position>
<position>left</position>
<position>right</position>
<position>top</position>
<position>user1</position>
<position>user2</position>
<position>user3</position>
<position>user4</position>
<position>user5</position>
<position>user6</position>
<position>user7</position>
<position>user8</position>
<position>user9</position>
<position>user10</position>
<position>user11</position>
<position>footer</position>
<position>footnav</position>
<position>syndicate</position>
<position>debug</position>
<position>article-start</position>
<position>article-end</position>
<position>article-search</position>
<position>article-featureprod</position>
<position>google</position>
</positions>

December 14, 2010 at 3:48 pm #366743Kassim…this post has been marked “Solved”.
Is that correct?Or are you still searching for an answer?
The post you found really only pertains to adding module positions above and below the content area.
If you are wanting it on just ONE page…then Aman’s suggestion would be correct.A more thorough walk-thru is EXPLAINED HERE.
December 15, 2010 at 8:47 am #366908no its not correct as the above steps which i found doesnt apply to t3 blank template
purity II template worked fine with the module in content, but i cant get it to work with t3 blank templateany other way possible ?
i dont want to load a module within an article

Do you wish to mainly say that loading of module position in article area isnt working for t3 blank template?
December 15, 2010 at 12:49 pm #366939no i dont say that it doesnt work nor have i tried.
all am saying that with all the flexibity of joomlart templates, it can be possible to add a module position to a template without coding an article to display a module.
if only can a module position be specified at the template level such as content or content-top, thus it will enable any module to be published at such a position.
hope you understand my point.
other templates such as purityII, one can specify a module position such as content and thus can enable any module in the position.
any help appreciated thanks
