We have a problem with the way JA Newsflash displays content items from the category its set to. Currently it is only showing one random item, then that texts fades, but no secondary item follows.

To answer the questions the url is http://www.indels.com, no modules have been installed, joomla is version 1.0.13 and the template is unmodified.

Another question we would like to ask is can we somehow link the text which is displayed to a specific header image?

First, I recommend you to upgrade to Joomla 1.0.15
Second, Go and download the newest version for your template and try to reinstall the JA Newsflash.
If it’s not so new, go for another template, more recent and download it.
Install the JA Newsflash and see if the problem is gone.

Check in configuration.php if your live site url is listed there, if not add it. http://www.yoursite.com
Also put a redirect in a htaccess file from http://yoursite.com to http://www.yoursite.com
This has been a solution that have worked for most people.
