I am using JA_decor the template has a really dumb way to show the flags on the module language switcher since the default is English and it shows the English Flag when it should show the second language (in my case French). A French person will not click the English flag when looking for translation so now I have French speaking customers asking if I am going to translate the site when the translation is already there…

I couldn’t find a way to reverse things and so my option is to show a drop-down but now I have another problem.

English shows: English (UK)
French shows: FrenchCanada

I couldn’t find a way to show just the language code or language name FR and EN would be great.

Can anyone help me to achieve this? thanks a lot

Hi powertowin,

1. Rename the folder /root/templates/ja_decor/html/mod_language (ie. mod_language_bak)

2. Configure the module “Language Switcher” as this: http://prntscr.com/4nvqrz
