hi! ive got 2 display issues that i cant resolve…

+how to resolve issue of slideshow & featured product mods displaying on all pages; mods only set to display on home?!..
+how to tidyup main shop page, so categories display 3×3 thumbnails not 4×4 @ https://oharadesigns.com/Shop

1. open your module and check Menu Assignment: sellect HOME or all menus.
2. pls send more informaitons

just to clarify, i have checked that slideshow & featured product modules are only assigned to mainmenu ‘Home’ page. what is curious, is that module manager indicates that these mods are set to display as ‘Varies’ not ‘All’ pages.

if user clicks ‘Shop’ from mainmenu or slideshow graphic, no problem – site displays as desired. but when user clicks a ‘Featured Product’ on front page, slideshow & featured product modules are displayed on other pages.

i simply want the slideshow & featured product modules to display on front page only.

any ideas? thank you.

i tried your suggestion: uninstalled mod_virtuemart_featuredprod then installed more recent version of mod from quick start.

this did not resolve the issue. any other ideas?..

good news – i managed to resolve first issue!

i went to menu manager/mainmenu & added a front page blog entry. i used the same url – index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage
titled it home, made default, disabled original home & repointed featuredprod & ja-slideshow mods at home page.

second issue remains unresolved, but if there’s no parameter in vm admin, im supposing there’s a simple css fix?..

Hi, I am having the same problem. Basically featured, slideshow as well as JA_News module appear accross the site once a user clicks on any product even though they are all set to display on the Home Page only. To clarify, only homepage is selected. I tried what mylearningspace suggested, but alas it didnt work for me 🙁 Any more ideas?
