December 14, 2009 at 3:19 pm #146827I tried inserting the Login module (mod_login) in the MegaMenu but it does not seem to work in JA Urani. The same settings work in JA Halite. Any changes done to mega menu parameters?
Here is what I have:
JA Urani
Menu Module : mainmenu
Menu Type : Mega Menu
Start level : 0
End level : -1
Default Style : bluedefault layout : default
Then in menu manager : this is what i have in the seperator (link to Register)
module [position=mega1 cols=1] Register
Seems to be some kind of bug because the same site with same settings, the Login form is displayed in the MegaMenu (if I select JA Halite) but just by changing the default template to JA Urani the login form disappears only the menu name is displayed that too as module register

December 17, 2009 at 2:47 am #326771any update when this bug should be fixed.
i would suggest that before releasing a template at least get some one to do basic bug testing.
The point for login was launched even when the template preview was provided and at that point I had mentioned that with mega menu one could get the login into the menu.
Just on the day of launch in moss version I found an error and reported it and it was corrected.
I understand that you wanted to load the template fast before Christmas, but would definitely suggest that you have some staff that does the template testing which would include multiple modules / options and it if it performs fine.

December 19, 2009 at 2:36 am #326953Ok…
I found a solution from this link
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showpost.php?p=157324&postcount=4Using ModuleID – the login module does show up in mega menu position… but not using above parameters. I think that there should be some kind of documentation released for each template on what Mega Menu parameters to set to make it work… because it seems there are variations on how mega menu shows up.

December 19, 2009 at 11:39 am #327002Hi,
Can you post the code you used to get the login to show up in the menu and what position the login module is published at. I’ve been trying to do the same thing but can’t get it to work.prakash Friendprakash

December 22, 2009 at 4:37 am #327150Hi,
Sorry for delay in responding.
You need to follow the instructions that are given in the link. Doing all the steps correctly, the module does show up in Mega Menu.
What you need to do is first go to Module Manager, get the Module ID (found at extreme right) and rest is as per steps provided in the link above.
eg if your module id is 20 you say

December 28, 2009 at 10:40 am #327598Hi,
I’ve followed the instructions in the link and created a separator menu item with this code
[modpos=mega2 group=1]
and placed the login module in the mega2 position but this is what it looks like:IGNORE
Just tried again using the code prbalge gave and it works, before when I tried it I hadn’t realised that the menu item needed to be a seperator.

December 29, 2009 at 5:07 am #327660Dear All,
Example in Ja Urani, created a separator menu item is User Form . After that, created a separator menu item is [modpos=login group=1] ( if module login position is login ) , this menu is User Form ‘s child.
Good luck for you, I checked and it has done
