January 10, 2014 at 7:10 am #518005It seems the issue just occurs on Safari for Mac computers only. I just tested on my Windows 8 andthe Russian characters are still displayed correctly on both Safari, Chrome, FF, IE for Windows.
I just looked around and see that many users face the same issue when using Cyrillic characters. Have you tried to raise a question on Safari forum, that is might be of help.
