Hello
sorry for this stupid question I suppose.
I just have registred as a templates club members.
Download some templates and install it as described in the user guide. All in a demo site before I use it on a production site. I have registred my domain as http://www.mydomain.be and my demo site run onto demo.mydomain.be
Transmenu is setup and run fine and choice of this menu is setup through the index.php file as describe.
My menu is still runing with the new template but NOT ANY modules in the default positions are displayed (user1, user2, right, left.. , login module…)
I don’t understand ,
If I setup again to use the default joomla template, all position and content are displayed ?
What about this ?thanks at all

Each template has modules in different positions, if you change modules you have to re do your module positions to suit the different template
You can view the modules position from within he admin area or type ?tp=1 after the site url
that is in this format http://www.youdomainname.com/whatever?tp=1
Hope that is the answer you are looking for
ShannonNJune 30, 2007 at 7:52 am #223001yes I know this but as I said, modules are well published in the correct position but, right and left position are not displayed.
In the zebrina template, content of user7, user 8, user 9 are correctly displayed at the top and user 1 user 2 top also perfectly at the botton of the template…. but left and right position show nothing
thanksJune 30, 2007 at 8:01 am #223002I come back with an another information.
When I setup the template editing the index.php file, with the ja_menutype setup with 1, position right and left are show, top menu with transmenu function but split menu still stay
When I setup this value to 3 (only transmenu I think) , right and left position show no content published at these positions.
thanks , it’s my first template that I payd and.. I can’t setup it correctly
best regardsJune 30, 2007 at 5:55 pm #223014I have found the solution. ransmenu must be published at a position where ther are no other module. In my case transmunu was published at the left position with others modules. I juste have to cretae a new position and publish the transmenu alone at this new position.
Thanks -
