hi,
This is weird, I suspect that I do not see supposed module positions for JA social on my admin backend. This is what I noticed recently and strangely I do not the same screen i am supposed to see on my frontend either, when I use the code?tp=1.
I am on joomla 1.5.22
please find the screenshots for reference.
I am trying to find ja_social module position”mainbody”Need help

I think you’ll have to add it yourself. Just type it into the [module] positions field. And if that doesn’t work you may have to add it in the template manager first (Layouts >> Layouts management).
Maybe what you are looking for is called something else, like Content or Content-main and is already available in the list of module positions?
January 18, 2011 at 2:14 am #372308thankls for the response, well! everything was fine until recently, this is something weird, this is the first time and something unusual I ever noticed especially while using ?tp=1 to locate mod positions,
And I dont see mainbody nor ‘content–‘ mod position ( I do see content maintop).
and my localhost which i use for testing looks fine – (please check the screenshot) when i use ‘?tp=1 . I will look furthur deep by comparing both my localhost and website (www.shahhah.org). but please let me know if you have any solution or familiar with my issue.Thanks,
John.

Sorry but this isnt module position but is the component/main body area which render and shows component or article area selected for specific menu item
January 20, 2011 at 5:18 am #372816Hi Aman, good to see you again, and thanks for the response once again,
How do I publish a video(or any module ) so that I can see it exactly under/at main body area. how do i achieve this on my (home/menuitem) front page.What is the procedure if I want to see any thing that I wish to publish at the main body area or under main body area for the default layout ja-social template.
Pardon me if I did not phrase the question properly, but I wish you understand what i mean or what i intend to do on my home page.,

1) You can make changes in parameters for specific menu item to hide author avatar and date
2) Change this::
.fp-article-content {template.css (line 312)
padding-left: 145px;
}to
.fp-article-content {template.css (line 312)
/*padding-left: 145px;*/

January 28, 2011 at 1:12 am #374150Aman, I made changes as you suggested, but I did not notice any changes, kindly correct me, Please check the screenshot for ref, for the ANSWER: 1) You can make changes in parameters for specific menu item to hide author avatar and date.
Please let me know if that is what you want me to do.
2) made the necessary changes on line 312 template.css (check screenshot for ref).
Eagerly waiting for your response Aman.

Hi John,

HI Aman,
Sorry for the delay in response, I am not sure if you received my second PM with my all the necessary website access details, so that you can unlock default menu item for the specified article. I trust you Aman, please take care of it as early as possible for you, and I may not able to respond to you until a day or 2, I am expecting the Internet connection on sunday, thats what they said! hopefully, I will get it by then and would able to respond to you in time.
Thanks,
John
