    Hi!
I am looking to add a google ads banner in the position of ja-slideshow – however the problem is that the ad banners width size has a max width of 728 which means it only fills about 3/4 ths of the site width or the same size as the left + center modules.

Is there anyway to create a module position that resides on the RIGHT or LEFT side of the ja-slideshow module position? Resulting in the whole width beeing used.

    Hey repoman,
This sounds like a heavy duty request here. I believe you would have to rebuild the template form the ground up in order to add another module position to the left or right of the ja-slideshow module. There MAY be ways around it however. I made it “look” like there was an extra module next to the slide show here: See the view You have to watch for a minute before the show starts….

Maybe you could have a similar set up where the user would click a graphic in place of the banner and go to a separate page that contains the banner itself? (doesn’t sound like a good workaround to me, but worth a shot????)

Alternatively, you may want to put the Google banner ad somewhere different. Perhaps putting this,
    /?tp=1
AFTER the domain extension (.com, .net, etc) to see what your options might be.

    Good luck,
    billyk

    Nice site there!

I guess it will be easier to just add an extra google ad or something else directly into my custom php module to fill up the space there.
