They way I’ve now done it is to change the xml file, remove the header and replace it with a row of modules, then add the logo back in using simple image holder.
I can then add as many modules as I need to the right of the logo. Not ideal but it works.

#2. Actually we can simply do that by adding code into block need for apply 🙂
