Hi guys i notice the module positions are not correct. I have had to manually insert the correct ones from the module settings page and by editing the templatedetails.xml file.

Hope this gets resolved in the next release.

Hi looks like the module positions have not yet been fixed. Major problem, it has been a very long time but we are waiting for fix. 🙂

Thank you for reporting, but I checked latest version and I can’t see the problems. Please tell me what is module position name that is missing.

I do not see it as a major problem. Why?

You can simply type the module position in the positions box in the module manager. Instead of picking an item from the dropdown simply type in the box the module name. It will then be in the dropdown list forever more.

Or if you want it to be in the dropdown list without typing it in there you can open templates>ja_teline_iv>templateDetails.xml and add lhe line I have highlighted in red below. I would just use the first option.

    <positions>
    <position>hornav</position>
    <position>breadcrumbs</position>
    <position>search</position>
    <position>banner</position>
    <position>left</position>
    <position>right</position>
    <position>right1</position>
    <position>right2</position>
    <position>top</position>
    <position>headlines</position>
    <position>header-r</position>
    <position>mega</position>
    <position>mega-adv1</position>
    <position>mega-item</position>
    <position>mega1</position>
    <position>mega2</position>
    <position>mega5</position>
    <position>mega6</position>
    <position>mega3</position>
    <position>mega4</position>
    <position>user1</position>
    <position>user2</position>
    <position>user3</position>
    <position>user4</position>
    <position>user5</position>
    <position>user6</position>
    <position>user7</position>
    <position>user8</position>
    <position>user9</position>
    <position>user10</position>
    <position>user11</position>
    <position>user12</position>
    <position>user13</position>
    <position>content-mass-bot</position>
    <position>col-mass-bot</position>
    <position>col-mass-top</position>
    <position>col-mass1</position>
    <position>col-mass1</position>
    <position>ja-news-1</position>
    <position>ja-news-2</position>
    <position>ja-news-3</position>
    <position>ja-news-mobile</position>
    <position>sl1-l</position>
    <position>sl1-r</position>
    <position>ja-tabs1</position>
    <position>ja-tabs2</position>
    <position>menulist</position>
    <position>footer</position>
    <position>syndicate</position>
    <position>debug</position>
    </positions>

A simple fix that has been overlooked. But as it is so simple it really should not cause major problems.

Hi Phill, sorry for not getting back to this sooner.

Yes thats exactly what i did, i added it manually into the box and also had manually tried putting it inside the xml and it did not work.

However after looking at the positions manually in development mode tp=1 i saw that where module 13 is suppose to be, its replaced with module 11 and module 12 which are working equally fine.

The module position layout is what had confused me, see attached.

    Thanks, Resolved.
