    Hi,

Ok I guess these is a stupid question, with obvious answers but I can’t figure it out, and I really need an answer. Please please help me figure this out.

My modules are not showing the title, thow in module manager, I have selected the title option to show.
below I am showing the demo site screen shoot and next mine. no module title is showing.

Please can any one guide me as to how do I go about rectifying this.

Thank You to anyone who helps.

    Zank

Can you post a pic of your module settings? If you have shown title then it should work unless you have some css problem that has hidden it.

Just so you know I am not JA stff or support or mod. Just another methys user like you.

OK. Tip Top. Thank you. Now I know why! You are using custom html module.

    The original modules used are

    Most Read Content
    Latest News

and the position is user6 and user7

You can edit these or make copies and then use them.

    Hope that helps you. 🙂

    Swissa,

I know you are not a JA staff etc, I have been throughout all the forum, searching for answer, and have seen your post and how you help all.

There are no titles showing in any of you modules, I just posted one snap shop, I will post more screenshots, none are showing the title, please see how you can help.

…here I have changed the title name

all modules are not showing the titles and mentioned earlier, and I really need to solve this.

P.S: I have used original modules, may have changed the title here and there.
    Thank You,
    Zank

Ok, first off make sure that you clear the JAT 3 cache and see if that helps. Also make sure that in template manager you have development mode set to yes – and if you can post the url please set optimize css to off.

I have not seen this problem before. It could be cache.

Have you made many changes to the site? And changed any css?

I have PM off so that no-one sends me log in details! 😀

You have a completely different div class to me for these.

You seem to be missing this div class <div class=”ja-moduletable moduletable badge-hot clearfix” id=”Mod95″>

so I’m not sure what you may have done different. I don’t think I can help you. You need to ask for JA support so that can look at the admin side.

If you look under your name on the left there is a triangle and what looks like a man juggling with his hands in the air 😀

Click on him and it will get pinged up to a mod. Would love to know the outcome so that I learn too.

Sorry again Zank. Wish I could have been more help to you. :-[

Thanks Swissa, you tried and I appreciate it. My site was fine and then I got a fatal error and it going down since then, everything is messed up, links not working etc.

I will do as you said and hope I get some help soon, I need to get this done and have very little time.

    Thank again, really appreciate it.

    You are more than welcome.

Can I make a suggestion for you (unfortunately) for the future. There is a brilliant product that is free called Akeeba. It is for backing up your site so that if it crashes you can just restore the file and heh presto your site is back!

    I couldn’t live without it.

All the best with your problems. I hope they get sorted soon as you are launching next week. Good Luck!

Oh Swissa, I do have a backup, but I backed up after the fatal error issue, so it won’t help, as right from the beginning the titles have not shown, i think my files did not up load right in the first place. well I will see what the support staff or the mods say, before reinstalling the thing again.

    Thanks once again.

you’ve either got extremely old version or a very bad install, as when I just now visited your site it thinks I’m using IE6 when I’m using FF11
Run JAEM & update everything and if that does not cure it, then reinstall

I am sorry, I should have updated the status,

The issue was with aeylshop component. Though my site is down now so I cannot log into the admin, Phill Luckhurst has solved the issue as he was initially working with my earlier fatal error issue. This was after the fatal error was solved.

plugin ayelshop jquery was causing all the problems.

did you visit the site now, because, when it loads its look good to me here.

    Thank you and Best Regards,
    Zank
