I’m not exactly sure why some/most of the individual pages on the site I am building have no background and the right side modules wrap and appear under the main content.

    The Site:

    Do you have any idea?

I’m wondering if it might be a particular browser issue – as I just viewed your site (and that particular page) in both Chrome and Firefox and it appeared to display as it should. There was no mis-formatting as in your image above.

I just looked at it again, in Firefox, Chrome and Safari. All had the same problem as the image I attached.

I will take a look in IE but at this point I am pretty sure it’s not a browser issue hun.

    Hi daysi,

Pls backup your files, then try to attract & overwrite componentscom_contentviewsarticletmpldefault.php with my attached file.

    Hi Leo –

My template is a J3 template and did not have a default. php file to replace. It had default. xml and default_links. php files

I did however upload your file and no change.

I installed a 2.5 version of the template, created a category, built a page and assigned it to that category, created a link to that in the main menu and I now get the exact results as you can see here: http://dailydoobie.com/dev2/index.php/january

I will need a resolution to this issue today or I will be asking for a refund of my membership! This is ridiculous. I paid for support did I not?

With all due respect . . . . just because you’re facing a tricky/difficult custom modification issue does not necessarily equate to there being a “bug” in the template. Nevertheless, your request for refund will be forwarded onto the JA Sales Dept accordingly.

    Tom –

I worked with a technician yesterday who was the first to say the word bug. We tested with a fresh install of the template and got the same issues I am having. Seems like a bug to me. I truly hate to be a b**** but the site working is so important.

We hired and paid someone to purchase a membership to JA for this template. They bailed on us so it has been left to me to make it work. I purchased a membership for the second time just to get support on the template and the people I work with are out of patience.

There is alot riding on the template working as advertised.

I do not need a refund if I can just get some help to make the template function properly.

    Hi Daysi,

I’m really sorry for the wrong info in my PM. Indeed, there is an error of our overidden com_content in the old version T3v3 1.0.2 which causes the article details layout broken when you show Publised date & Created date info on. There are two solutions:

    1. Temporary: Hide these info in Menu (Category Blog) configurations.

    2. Permantly: Backup your website & upgrade T3v3 1.0.2 to T3 1.2.x, and update our JA Mero template with latest version.

Thank you for addressing my issue/ticket.

I will try to upgrade the T3 version.

Have you got this fixed now? Your site seems to be looking good for me.

I haven’t upgraded the T3 version, just avoided the creation date in the menu configurations. Seems to be working. Don’t wanna upgrade and fix something that aint broke at the moment until we get online.

    Thanks for asking Phill

Whenever I upgrade an important site I always take a copy using Akeeba and test the upgrade on my desktop running WAMP. I have occasionally run into problems but at least it is not on my live site. Always good to have the backup too just in case.

If you do upgrade the T3 plugin be sure to do it through JA Extension manager so you can roll back if needed.

Good luck with your site and be sure to come back and showcase it once complete. It is looking great so far.
