I am having some difficulty with the installation instructions. The step (d2) which relates to modules and positons does not appear to be for the Joomla 1.5 system.

I can not figure out how to manipulate the system to accomplish the following task as instructed:

“d2. Now we will create needed positions for this template’s modules. Please create new positions (user10, search, gallery, slideshow, ja-news, newslight, ja-qj) like below:”

Help would be appreciated.

Hi steering.
When you install template Avian ii 1.5, you will have all positions of that template.

I am still having a very hard time getting the basics sorted out here. The instructions provided at the very top of this forum do not make much sense…

1. I have followed them word for word BUT what I see and experience is very different from what is being presented. These instructions must be from a previous version of Joomla?

2. I had hoped the Avian II 1.5 template would have all the positions but when I look at the template I’ve launched…. clearly something is not right.

I’ve viewed your site. I think you only install template, not quickstart
Plz install quickstart as a new Joomla, you will have a site like demo.
