    Hello,

    First, I’m sorry for the loss of your forum data. These things happen, even to the best. I hope you’ll keep up with the good work nonetheless. i post again my problem since it was one of the lost ones.

    I am a complete newcomer to Joomla and I chose your purity III template which seems really great.
    Here is my problem.

    I chose to disable the responsive layout, and chose 980px as the layout width.
    Then I chose the corporate layout.
    From the top of the page I therefore have 4 blocks with a width of 12.
    Language switch board, Main menu, mast head and position 0.

    I added 3 modules in the position 0 block.
    A random picture module, a search module and a breadcrumb module.

    They do not appear aligned with the rest of the page, on the left. When I widen my window, the rest of the page slides to stay at the center of the window whereas these elements in the 0 position stay at the complete left of the window. the image having exactly the same width as the template, it should stay at the center of the window no matter its size.

    What can I do to fix this problem?

    Also, the search module appears on two lines whereas it should appear on one line only. Why?

    Here is the html code generated for this part of the page:

    <div class=”slideshow hidden-xs “>
    <div class=”random-image”>
    <img src=”/images/bandeaux//pano_castel.JPG” alt=”pano_castel.JPG” width=”980″ height=”247″ /></div>
    <form class=”form-search” action=”/index.php/fr/” method=”post”>
    <div class=”search”>
    <button class=”button btn btn-primary” onclick=”this.form.searchword.focus();”>Rechercher…</button><label for=”mod-search-searchword”> </label><i class=”fa fa-search”></i><input name=”searchword” id=”mod-search-searchword” maxlength=”20″ class=”form-control ” type=”text” size=”20″ /> <input type=”hidden” name=”task” value=”search” />
    <input type=”hidden” name=”option” value=”com_search” />
    <input type=”hidden” name=”Itemid” value=”112″ />
    </div>
    </form>

    <ol class=”breadcrumb “>
    <li class=”active”>Vous ĂȘtes ici : *</li><li><span>Accueil</span></li></ol>

    </div>
    and here is the result:

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
    Thanks for answering.
    I’m sorry if my first post screenshot wasn’t explicit enough.
    Here is the same one with lines pointing to the problems.
    You see that there is nothing left of the red line apart from the two modules in the position 0 block. If I widen the window the red line moves right and everything with it, but the two modules (breadcrumbs and search) who stay sticked on the left border of the window.
    Then in the purple rectangle you see the search module. It should appear on one line only (I selected left for the button position) and however it appears on 2 lines. I don’t see anything in the html code (pasted in my first post) explaining this behaviour.

    The website is http://www.niceazur.com . I temporarily removed the search module.

    Hi The problem is comes due to your customizations in Css for layout width .
    Please revert your custom changes .

    Here is a user guide for Layout Width

    Hope it helps.

    No it doesn’t come from my customization. I’m sure for several reasons.

    First, I have the problem since the beginning.
    Then I did not customize the css for layout width. I only changed a few colors in the variables.less file, but no width.
    To set the width of the layout to 980px, I used the template manager for purity. I did not changed the css or the less files.
    So it must be something else.

    But what?

    Hi i checked fresh quick start but there is no problem like you mentioned . As i said before uou need to remove your custom changes that you applied . After tthat change the width of layout with respect to the doc file link that i provided in previous post .
    I also suggest you to use custom.css file minor css overrides .
