    Hello There,
I installed J2XML component and after that I could not open the article manager. I unpublished the two J2XML plugins and I fixed the problem. Nevertheless, now most modules have a broken output such as the one shown for JA Login Module on the image.
I would appreciate very much your help.
    Regards,
    Albert

    Hi,

You need to verify that the language files are in tact, that’s how it looks now, that some files have been moved or altered in some way.

    Hello,
Thank you so much for your advice. I opened up the Language Manager and found out this message in red characters:
    • Failed loading XML file
    • /home/content/65/4295565/html/journal/language/en-GB/en-GB.xml
    • XML: failed to load external entity “/home/content/65/4295565/html/journal/language/en-GB/en-GB.xml”
There is no language installed. What do you suggest, please?
    Regards,
    Albert

You need to find the language files that are missing and re upload them to your hosting account.

    Hello,

I am sorry but I found out that the default language was already installed. I installed a few new languages and the problem persists. I tried to create a new user and I got this error:

JFolder: :folder: Path is not a folder. Path: /home/content/65/4295565/html/journal/language

I searched this problem and found out a few Joomla’s users that had the same problem but with the image folder. They corrected the path of the image folder and the problem was fixed.

Do you know how and where can I fix the language path?
I would appreciate very much your help!
    Regards,
    Albert

@albert, you can check the permission of that language folder and create a new folder if it does not exist.

    Hello Pascm,
Thank you so much for your reply. As you can see in the two images attached, the en-GB is in the administrator folder but not in the language folder. English (UK) – en-GB was the default language in the administrator and the content site. Now, I set up as default English (USA) in the administrator but English (UK) is the default on the content site. I don’t know the way to install the English (UK) in the administrator nor the English (USA) in the content site.
I read in the Joomla forum that to install a new language you needed to decompress the original Joomla 2.5 file that was used in the installation of the site, look for the language package and install it on the site via “Extension Manager.” I unpacked the Joomla file that was used for the installation of the site, but I found the languages on the language and administrator folders already unpacked so that I can’t install them via Extension Manager.
What should I do? Can I upload them via FTP to the corresponding folder on the server?
I would appreciate very much your help.
    Regards,
    Albert

    Hello Pascm,
Thank you so much for your help. I uploaded the lacking English (UK) to the language folder and the problem was fixed.
