In January I set up a site using ja_iris at: http://www.greatersouthwest.org and it has been working just fine using all browsers — internet explorer7, firefox, chrome, opera, & safari.

Last week a problem appeared when using internet explorer 7 & 8. Modules on the left side and right side disappear. Check it out by opening the site in IE, and then opening it in another browser.

Before last week Internet Explorer worked just fine — and we didn’t change anything.

Does anyone know how to fix this so that Internet Explorer works properly?

    Thanks,
    Jim Capraro

    Hi jimcapraro,

I checked your website but could not. Your website is working fine.

    Did you fix this issue?

Sorry for the delayed response, I’ve been traveling. I submitted a support ticket on this problem and I’m happy to say that the Joomlart support desk solved the problem. It turns out there was some special code (embeded MSWord code) in the most recent article in the Program spotlight module. Once the embedded MSWord code was removed the website started working fine again.
