October 11, 2008 at 1:22 pm #134291I have installed this template to have a look at it and notice that when i try to position a module in the module manager – the drop down module position list does not match the list on the demo site.
I want to add the slideshow but their is no position ‘slideshow’ although it says there is in the module layout page on the joomlart siteJohn Wesley Brett ModeratorJohn Wesley Brett

October 12, 2008 at 3:54 am #274825You are looking for a position called “topsl1”.
And you are correct, the screenshot does not show the exact name of the module area.You can find all module positions on your site by using this URL:
http://www.yoursitename.com/index.php?tp=1
Have fun!

October 13, 2008 at 8:39 am #274998Hi
if you use joomla 1.5
you can enter position name directly into list box position , you will have that position in your list box positionOr you can add by edit templateDetails.xml
you will see those lines like:
<positions>
<position>user1</position>
....
</positions>
please add into it postion as you wantNovember 1, 2008 at 2:11 am #277683I cannot get tops|1 or tops|2 to publish anything to them.
I have published the jaslideshow to the tops|1 position per the guide on the forums but it does not load. I can get it to work if I put it in the banner, or one of the user positions, but not the tops|1
I have tried to publish any module to the tops|2 including just a html module with the words HELLO in plain text, and it will not display.
I have been very frustrated with this template. You can see my base site at http://digitalpure.com/development/cms/

I finally killed all modules, and then published the slideshow first, and now everything is posting like normal. This has been bothering me for a few hours, but at least it is taken care of now.November 2, 2008 at 8:42 am #277757I had the similar issue as digitalpure and resolved the issue same way.
November 27, 2008 at 11:58 pm #280564I’m still having the same issues as “Digital Pure”
I am running JA Olivine 1.5 and have tried to publish anything to the topsl1 module with no success. Not sure what the problem is. Tried killing all the modules and then publishing the slideshow first with no luck. I’m going to try to uninstall/reinstall the template. Does anyone know how to fix this?
——————————-
I edited the index.php in order to get the topsl1 module to display anything. Hopefully if anyone else has this problem they can save themselves the frustration I went through by reading this post.Hit me up if you need the answer. peace.
