Hey, I´m pretty new at joomla. I am trying to make a couple of JA News Pro! modules. The problem arose as I changed the number of columns in the one titled Intervjuer2 (see screenshot). What happened was that the number of columns was also changed in the module called “Siste nummer”. Somehow these two modules seem magically connected, though the module called “Magasinet” does not change at all, as I would expect. The modules are all JA NEWS Pro!.

    Hello,

I am not sure what you mean, you are saying about the “Order” number ?

My problem is that when I change the numbers marked in the attached screenshot, these values also change in another JA News Pro! module and I don´t know why. I would like to be able to customize these numbers individually for each module!

    Hi,

You have to clone the profile (JA News Pro profile) in order to achieve your needs! That way you won’t have any problem when you change values to any instance of the module.

Please let me know if that helps you!

I tried to use the “save as copy” function on one of the existing modules and then modify the values on the cloned module, to the same result as before. When I change the values around, they also change in the other module.

    Hi,

In the module you will see the “Profile Settings” this is the profile you have to clone to a new instance of the module in order to have different settings for every module instance.

If you want me i can make an example for you in your website so you can understand it better, i will need a temporary super admin account for that.

    Regards
