April 21, 2016 at 3:16 pm #921070Masthead article images now show sometimes but not always. Why?
It feels like a severe cache problem. Same on 3 browsers.Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

April 22, 2016 at 3:25 am #921323Hi Tim,
I tried to check across some browsers: Chrome, FF, Safari but all display correctly. Try to contact server side to know whether they have cache or not.

April 22, 2016 at 11:11 am #921523You could be correct. I don’t see the same problem on my Site Ground server. http://gcm2.gpmnews.com/index.php/services/ebooks-apps I will ask the Hong Kong client to contact them. http://www.dataplugs.com/en/
Thanks
@saguaros Update: I turned off Joomla’s Conservative cacheing on this site and it seems to have solved the problem. http://graphicraft2.composesites.com/ but not here: http://graphicraft.com.hk/ Both are on the same server (composesites.com) but the first has had no recent template and plugin updates applied. Both are still on Joomla 3.4.8.
Maybe the updates that were related to Joomla 3.5.1 are not quite compatible with 3.4.8 ? The updates were applied via JA Extension Manager. The lack of JA Masthead on article pages on the site with updates is now consistent. Always no Masthead on pages like: http://graphicraft.com.hk/services/typesetting But the Masthead appears on Blog articles. e.g. http://graphicraft.com.hk/blog/6-app-of-the-month-couleurs-jazz
But not here: http://graphicraft2.composesites.com/blog/6-app-of-the-month-couleurs-jazz
Bizarre.

April 25, 2016 at 1:04 pm #922519Hi Saguaros,
Yes, it works now except that the JA Masthead image on the Contact us page is not correct. http://graphicraft.gpmnews.com/about-us/contact-us The default Mono mountain image shows instead of the one specified in the JA Masthead module.

April 26, 2016 at 2:04 pm #922970I got around the remaining problem on the Contact us page by adding a cta module. [http://graphicraft.gpmnews.com/about-us/contact-us] The cta module only specifies the image. (http://graphicraft.gpmnews.com/about-us/contact-us) I’m not sure where the address is coming from. It’s not in the cta module. 🙂
A previous site version worked as expected: http://gcm2.gpmnews.com/index.php/about-us/contact-us

April 27, 2016 at 7:48 pm #923646Hi Saguaros,
Yes, the Masthead module seems not to understand to show the specified image for the Contact menu. In desperation I have put my image in the template/ja-mono/images folder in order to forever lose the mountain 🙂
