Has there been any work yet to check compatibility with mootools v 1.2?

I have another application (Fabrik) that wants to use mootools v 1.2 features, however when I disable the initial loading of mootools for ja_purity, things break.

I’m not yet sure where to look to fix the problems, so I was wondering if anyone had done any work yet on 1.2 compatibility?

Apparently mootools 1.2 is what will ship with Joomla 1.6.

I’ve searched alot since a month ago but nothing useful has been found, many people have problem with mootools 1.2 and Ja Templates like:

You have to look for any JS script used by JA Teline and convert the mootools code to 1.2. Some of the conversion hints are given here.

But first option would be to enable the Joomla 1.19-1.20 core Mootools 1.2.4 upgrade plugin.
