December 22, 2010 at 10:21 pm #157789I have portal with Teline II and I wish to upgrade to version IV. Main problem with Teline II for me is speed. Therefore I checking Teline IV with web page JoomlaPerformance.com. Perhaps that is not 100% correct testing system, but I think enough acceptable for illustration. Result for testing my Teline IV (version 1.2.0 Quickstart) instaltion is showed on picture.
Is possible to make some optimization from developer team? Thanks for Teline IV.

December 22, 2010 at 10:36 pm #368194I do not think that test is good at all. For instance, see what it says about one of the biggest news sites in the UK, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/
Only 3 item PASS your test yet it is viewed by millions and has a dedicated team of hundreds constantly working on it.

December 22, 2010 at 11:40 pm #368202Your example is an excellent illustration of how the test results can not be taken each time as 100% true. But will serve to illustrate. A significant difference between my examples of Teline IV and examples for the BBC is in the number of request, not optimized images, perhaps in a speed server, etc. I agree with you that the interpretation of these results must be very careful and recognize what is is result of development process and what is result of bad administrators works. In any case, I think your comment and example is very useful.
