I understand you want to add load more function for the articles in that place . But i am afraid template does not have feature to add load more article in that place .
If you want to add a custom link button on the place let me know i will help u add it .

No i mean if you want to add any custom button link on that place for more articles . its the feaured article layout part and does not have module position present in that place .

I got your Point here , You want to fill the space with article like in the list .
You can do this from menu options . Open the menu item > Layout > Intro articles > http://prntscr.com/apog1t
Increase the limit to show more articles .
