    on this page (trying to build a demo for a potential customer) ….
    http://house-garden.weserver.dk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=13&Itemid=27

    using firefox, mosimage shows no space between image and text
    using IE7, all is OK.

    I can see in CSS there’s statements for “all good browsers” and then IE, but it doesn’t seem to do the trick

    Please advise, thanks.

    Hi solsikkehaven,

    Try to use this format:
    {mosimage}
    <p>Your content</p>

    It might solve your problem.

    Regards,
    Ha Le-Viet.

    trying (HTML edit mode):

    {mosimage}<p>Etiam metus. Proin lectus erat, semper nec, sagittis nec, malesuada a, pede. Quisque pulvinar euismod metus. Cras pellentesque, tortor non faucibus molestie, purus ipsum cursus lacus, non ullamcorper ligula metus sit amet sem. Aenean magna nisl, mollis a, malesuada nec, fermentum sit amet, nibh. Integer facilisis pulvinar arcu. Integer cursus, dolor sit amet suscipit pellentesque, sapien quam suscipit sapien, laoreet venenatis odio quam vel quam. Donec eu purus et magna tincidunt vulputate. Donec turpis libero, eleifend in, fringilla id, fringilla vel, metus. Fusce a arcu. Maecenas eget dolor eget nibh gravida adipiscing. Praesent ultricies est ac sapien. In hac habitasse platea dictumst. Quisque tortor nunc, lobortis quis, facilisis in, vehicula sit amet, eros. Nulla at elit ut turpis dignissim aliquam. In hac habitasse platea dictumst.</p>

    almost same result, I’m sorry to say….

    just can’t figure out what’s happening …..

    actually the problem has been reported before, but the solution is not good

    please look at :

    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/words-sticking-on-image/

    threads ends with a question, that I also have..

    Please advise….

    thanks !

    Actually, I have made a “work-around”, but I’m not quite sure, what implications this might have …

    in template_css.css, I removed the

    * {
    padding: 0;
    margin: 0;
    }

    and put the padding and margin statement into the body

    body {
    padding: 0px;
    margin: 0px;

    then I also changed
    #ja-header {
    clear: both;
    text-align: left;
    line-height: normal;
    height: 82px; <originally 80px, but small problem when hover …
    position: relative;
    }

    ……………

    then the mosimage is OK in firefox also (and still OK in IE7)..

    now, the logo.jpg now has a serious problem. I solved this by going into index.php, removing the H1 statements around the logo.jpg line….

    now, template works, without making <DIV> statements around mosimage..

    But of course, something can be very wrong elsewhere, but I haven’t found any problems (yet)…

    Could someone inform me, if this work-around is OK or there’s potentially some problems ?

    Thanks !

    Hi solsikkehaven,

    I thought the solution in that thread is good for both captioned and non-captioned images. Did you try your solution with captioned images? If everything’s good, that would be great!

    Regards,
    Ha Le-Viet.

    The solution provided in the other thread is not good, because you should not go the DIV way to implement standard mosimage tags. you should just push the insert mosimage tag in the tinymce standard editor (or whatever editor you are using)….

    the site DATA (content) should be DESIGN (template) independent, therefore special DIV’s or tags should not have to be implemented in the DATA in order for a template to work properly….

    I’ll try with Caption ….one moment….
    it works in both IE7 and firefox 🙂
