    I would like the content-main position article to appear above the content-mass-top position. I’ve tried editing the default template layout code, but can’t seem to figure it out. I’m using Joomla 1.5 and here is the layout code:

    <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”utf-8″?>
    <layout name=”desktop”>
    <!–Extra css load for this layout–>
    <stylesheets>
    </stylesheets>
    <scripts>
    <file>js/ja.more.js</file>
    </scripts>
    <blocks name=”top” style=”xhtml”>
    <block name=”absolute” type=”modules” style=”raw”>absolute</block>
    <block name=”top-panel” type=”modules” style=”raw”>top-panel</block>
    <block name=”header” type=”header” main-inner=”1″></block>
    <block name=”slideshow” type=”modules” no-main=”1″ >slideshow</block>
    <block name=”video” type=”modules” >video</block>
    <block name=”cpanel” type=”usertools/cpanel”></block>
    <block name=”topsl” type=”spotlight” main-inner=”1″>user1,user2,user3,user4,user5</block>
    </blocks>
    <blocks name=”middle” colwidth=”22″ fixheight=”1″>
    <block name=”content-mass-top” type=”modules”>content-mass-top</block>
    <block name=”inset2″>left</block>
    <block name=”right1″ width=”30″>right</block>
    </blocks>
    <blocks name=”bottom” style=”xhtml”>
    <block name=”botsl” type=”spotlight” main-inner=”1″ specialwidth=”30″>user6,user7,user8,user9,user10</block>
    <block name=”navhelper” type=”navhelper” main-inner=”1″></block>
    <block name=”footer” type=”footer”></block>
    </blocks>
    </layout>

    I recently assisted another Member with a similar situation – albeit she was wanting to add additional ContentSlider positions. Nevertheless, the principles remain the same, so I thought I would provide reference to the solution for that situation to help you understand the basic principles and how they can assist you with moving the module/position as well –> http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showt…)-JA-Kranos1.5

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks, Tom. I understand how to move existing position around. What I don’t understand is how to move the content-main position. The code for that position doesn’t appear in the layout code. I need the main article (content-main) to appear above the content sliders (content-mass-top).

    What about moving the

    “content-mass-top: block above the “middle” block

    or below the “topsl” block ??

    I’ve tried every place imaginable and nothing works. If there a file somewhere that contains the placement for content-main?
