I want to install Teline III, Can I install it, and use it. Or is it more complicated than that.

1. Backup a copy of old teline template folder to safe place (ie. local disk on your desktop).
2. Uninstall the template and install the latest version of Teline III (1.4 as for now).
If you previous template had hacks, you would have to redo them in Teline III. Approaches (solutions) could be different from those applied in Teline II.
That’s all for the template. Still, some modules have been updated also. So:
1. Take screenshots of module backend settings. Uninstall it and install the new module version (if updated). Redo the module configs based on older screenshots.

thanks. It appears that there is more incalculated risks than benefits. I think I will wait and see if other people did this

If you are satisfied with your current template, and do not feel a strong need in going to version III, just leave as it is now. Otherwise, you would have to spend some time for the upgrade. For the beginning try at a localhost.
