    just check now. http://ptseries.info/portal/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=192

it works with sef off. have a look. You need to use Use Apache mod_rewrite : Yes. and rename the htaccess.txt to .htacess and try again. and let us know.

For now you had sef on but without mod_rewrite on.

What really do the mod_rewrite ?

I got it.. This module provides a rule-based rewriting engine to rewrite requested URLs on the fly.

    Thanks 😉 I’ll try that 😀 and I’ll give feedback 😉

    p2mb2;124797What really do the mod_rewrite ?

for details use google to search for mod_rewrite.

in simple words, if you wish to use SEF urls (good looking urls), you need to use apache module “Mod_rewrite” >> which has rule sets for changing the urls.

To confirm it all try this :

    1. Turn on SEF url in your global config.
    2. Rename htaccess.txt to .htacess (in your joomla root directory).

This should take care of Fireboard sef url problem.
