Hi guys,
I have moved my entire Joomla install from a localhost install onto a live server and have managed to break something. Everytime I publish the SLideshow module on the home page it simply creates a big white space and everything moves down.
As shown here:
Can you give me some pointers to get this going again? I have made sure that the module is the latest version as is the JAT3 framework…
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Nick

October 10, 2011 at 1:16 pm #418180Hi nicksteruk
I’ve cheched your permission folder on some folders you have the chmod 705
you must be sure to assign the chmod 755 to all your folders
October 11, 2011 at 8:03 am #418404Hi Pavit,
Thanks for the tip, I still have a problem and I can’t track it down is it that the group access is for “inetuser”? Should it be something else??
Cheers

Try to ask to your web hosting provider
anyway all joomla folders must be on 755 chmod you still have your tmp and log folder to 705
October 11, 2011 at 9:58 am #418429Thanks Pavit,
I’ve now gone through and made sure all the folders are chmod’d 755.
Is it a javascript problem? I am having issues with the save and savnd close buttons in administrator area, too. I’m wondering if they are linked?
Cheers

October 11, 2011 at 10:05 am #418431Hi
try to enable the ftp
now you have
public $ftp_enable = '';
change in
public $ftp_enable = '1';
October 11, 2011 at 12:28 pm #418443I’ve done that and also made sure the Logs directory is correct.
Anything else?
Cheers

October 11, 2011 at 3:20 pm #418489Hi
On your backend i have disabled the css and Js optimization and cleared your JaT3 cache
Frontend side all seems to works fine slideshow included
but there are many mootools errors and i think them are the reason for issues on your backend
try to find on google how to use in joomla the Jquery no conflict library
Regards

October 12, 2011 at 10:40 am #418708H Pavit,
I have just updated to Joomla 1.7.1, to sort out the mootools problem and am now getting this:
Fatal error: Cannot instantiate abstract class JDatabaseQuery in /home/content/35/8309535/html/plugins/system/jat3/jat3/core/joomla/modulehelper.php on line 292
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers
Nick
