September 8, 2015 at 1:48 am #747769To somebody serious at customer service, the files from virtuemart haven’t change from the quick start, so you can take those as a reference, we are not allowed to provide any back-end passwords.
I consider this a problem, as a sales person, because the price is usually a topic you discus after you describe the qualities of the product you are selling, in the current layout, you shown the price first and then the short description.
Thank you.

September 8, 2015 at 3:32 am #747787Dear @ninja Lead, that exactly is how far I was able to go on my own during the weekend…!, Please see the attached .php file with the modifications I created.
If possible, I would like to have the price on the same area that the “Add to Cart” button because 90% of our products don’t have prices open to the public, making the “Add to Cart” button to disappear and leaving an empty space instead.
At the same time, the price is replaced by the “call for price” button.
It will be great to have the “call for price button” on the empty space (please see the attached picture Target 1). Another option is to disappear the empty space if the product doesn’t have price, hence the “Add to Cart” button is not present.
I uploaded the local version of the default.php file to the server and created an extra product so you can see the difference more clearly. http://www.zzunn.com/index.php/asset-inventory/industrial-equipment/manufacturing/view/productdetails/virtuemart_product_id/1261/virtuemart_category_id/17
Thank you again for all your support,
Kind regards,

September 8, 2015 at 10:38 am #747840This is custom work and I spent a lot of my time to debugging your request. But you can get my php file and copy it into templates/ja_techzone/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/ folder and don’t forget to backup old file before doing changes
Let me know if it helps

September 8, 2015 at 2:23 pm #747868Dear @ninja Lead, thank you so much for your assistance, you are the best. I know it wasn’t a easy fix, I spend my self over two days trying to do it and I don’t know what could I done without your help.
What you have done is great and I hope the rest the of users of this template would take advantage of the file, because it really makes the product profile pages look much better than the original. It’s evident that whoever designed the original template wasn’t careful enough or wasn’t willing to go through the troubles you went.
Thank you again.
TO OTHER USERS OF THIS FILE: If you download this file, please take a moment to thank and add a positive comment for @ninja Lead on this thread, I’m sure it will help him on his personal ratings and his performance stats. Thank you. This file is located in /templates/ja_techzone/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/default.php (don’t forget to backup the original file before you make the change)
