Curently, the footer (black area) is above social. How do I move it to the very bottom of the page or get rid of it? If I disable footer module, it just removes the text.

Can you move the block within your Template Manager — Layout section ??

STEP 4 within the T3 DOCUMENTATION – LAYOUT explains how you can reorder the positions.
