Hello,
I am using JA K2 Filter module for filtering a courses list where each course is contained in a category which has different extra-fields like the semester or the type, depending on the category.
I’m able to filter these courses but the ordering functionality is too limited for what I need to do. I would like to order the results by more than one field. For exemple, order by category and then by extra-field “code” and then by title. Actually, when I filter the courses from many different categories (including sub-categories), I’d like to display the results ordered by category firstly.
The final user doesn’t need to change this order. It’s just that I’d like to display my results in a certain logical way.
It would by nice to offer this functionality in the module options and in the menuitem options.
In the meanwhile, is there a way to manually change the ordering columns of the SQL query somewhere?
Thanks for your help.
Fabien

At this time, JA K2 Filter only supports one order conditional.
Thanks for your suggestion, I will pass your idea to our development team for further consideration in next version.

It’s not easy to customize this function, we need time to investigate on this.August 3, 2015 at 10:14 am #647543Thank you for your answer.
I hope this functionality will be available in a future version.
