Hi,
I created articles in English after having the site fully fonctionning in French and now even everything is fine, I couldn’t help but notice that the language file in my template is still en-GB and in it, under ‘customs’, everything is still in French. And when I change it, the French site goes English.
Do I have to cope a file named French for my default site? Here’s the site in English and as you can see circled in the third attachement, something is still french

June 7, 2016 at 2:48 am #938334Hi
First of all you need to make changes in the root/language folder not inside template folder .
As you have two languages on site you need to add the template language file in your another language folder .
For example you already have EN language and now u have FR language .
in this case you need to copy the en-GB.tpl_ja_platon.ini file and en-GB.tpl_ja_platon.sys in FR language folder nad change the name EN (en-GB)with fr .EN language file is used of EN language and FR for FR.
June 7, 2016 at 7:37 am #938430Hi,
Grateful for your advice, though I didn’t quite understand, because I didn’t find the en-GB.tpl_ja_platon.ini file and en-GB.tpl_ja_platon.sys anywhere.
However, I took a leap and I would like to check with you if I understand everything clearly: if I copy the 2 documents under the file en-GB like I circled out in the attachment under the same ‘language’ folder, only to change its name to fr-FR and change the content myself, would it make a difference?
Thanks.

June 7, 2016 at 7:43 am #938433Hi
Sorry i added wrong template name
please find GB.tpl_ja_mono.ini file and GB.tpl_ja_mono.sys file
Also find it in the root language folder not inside the template folder . check site directory from Cpanel or FTP .If you use different separate language file you can defined different language strings values for different languages .
You can see fr language folder already have other languages files except template , that u need to add manually as suggested .AuthorPostsViewing 4 posts - 1 through 4 (of 4 total)This topic contains 3 replies, has 2 voices, and was last updated by Pankaj Sharma 8 years, 5 months ago.
