I have a j1.5 site using Zeolite ii and mega menu which I am using as 3 different sites. I have duplicated the template and edited templatedetails.xml to give each copy of the template a unique name. This way, I can apply different color variations of the template to different menu items.
However, I was hoping to find a way to change the mainmenu order depending on which menu item you had selected. For example, I have the following menu items: Rentals, Sales, Affiliates – each of these, when clicked has its own template color to identify which portion of the site you are in. Since “rentals” is the first menu item, it is considered my home page. What I would like to do is change the menu order so that if you click “Sales”, then the sales menu item is first, and etc.
I have tried copying the menu and reorganizing the item order. But I can’t find what position to put this new menu in so that it takes the place of the existing mainmenu. Nor do I see how to make that menu a mega menu.
So far I think I need to show the default mainmenu only when on “Rentals” page, and hide it when viewing rest of site. When hidden however, how do I post a new menu module to the ja-menu position? Is it possible to have multiple mega menus on one site?
