    Hello

    It’s possible create multilaguage menu items on J1.6 for this template? I use item’s name from template/ja_cloris/core/etc/layouts/default.xml file…

    Thank you for your response.

    You could translate the one-page menu items in language file. Open file language/[lang]/[lang].tpl_ja_cloris.ini, and use the title inside template/ja_cloris/core/etc/layouts/default.xml file as key.

    Hi,

    I’d like also to have a multilingual website, I did what you suggested, but I can’t still have the French language. Here’s what I’ve done:
    I uploaded file en-GB.tpl_ja_cloris.ini and I’ve renamed it to fr-FR.tpl_ja_cloris.ini and added following items:

    Home=Accueil
    Features=Fonctionnalités
    Video=Vidéo
    Gallery=Gallerie
    Blog=Blog
    Contact-us=Contactez-nous

    I’ve then uploaded it to the server in /language/fr-FR but I can’t have the menu items translated, so I guess what I did isn’t good.
    Could you please guide me on how to translate menu items?

    Thank you very much for your help.

    Hi Khanh,

    Thanks, it did worked, however if I have accents they are not rendered correctly in the menu. You can see it here: http://www.diigo.com/item/image/hun9/vsy9
    You can also check it online at beta.clearmarkup.com

    I’m having another issue and this has nothing to do with the Template itself but I’ve installed AceSEF to get SEF URLs. I set AceSEF to add language prefix to URL so for French I would have beta.clearmarkup.com/fr/#contact-us. If I type this in my navigation bar it works fine, however if I click on item “Contactez-nous” it will redirect me to the English version, my link will be like this beta.clearmarkup.com/#contact-us. Do you know how I could solve this issue?

    Another think, I’d like to know if it is possible to also translate the links name, so instead of beta.clearmarkup.com/fr/#contact-us I would have beta.clearmarkup.com/fr/#contactez-nous. Do you know if I could do this?

    Thank you very much again for your help.
