April 2, 2014 at 8:16 pm #196390Hi
I have a multilanguage problem, the english logo is not appearing on the homepage and the problem seems to be with the “starred” menu (sorry, I have it in french, it says “En vedette”.” My “Accueil” menu is on “all languages” so it should work? I tried to have one in french and one in english but it doesn’t work.. See printscreen attached
Can you help?

April 7, 2014 at 8:56 am #529731I just checked your site. You should create menu item for each language. Please try again following this tip.
By the way, have you tried out our JA Multilingual component? If you are interested, please have a look, it helps to setup multilingual site easily.

May 4, 2014 at 4:41 pm #533479Hi
I created now 2 menus (french and english) and assigned all corresponding menus items. In english menu, the “home” menu is set to languages: “all” and I can’t modify it to english, it says: The home menu for languages cannot be indetermined . If I create a new menu item “home” with english language, it is then impossible to change it to the default homepage, it says that at least one menu need to be assigned as default and when I try to assign another menu as default, it says: You can’t have 2 menu set as default 🙁 Can you help?

May 6, 2014 at 3:07 am #533699Your site is using the Main Menu and you only set “Home” to one menu item. Actually, you should create two menus for two languages English and French, then go to the Template Manager to create two template styles and select the Menu for those two languages.
I did fix directly in your site. You can see:
– In Menu Manager, I created two menus: “Menu English” (English language) and “Menu Français” (French language)
http://prntscr.com/3gmt8n , http://prntscr.com/3gmtix
– In Template Manager, I created two template styles:
+ JA_Mero – Abstract – EN (English language)+ JA_Mero – Abstract – FR (French language)
And here is result: http://prntscr.com/3gmtuq, http://prntscr.com/3gmtzo
Let me know if this helps.
